She sprayed stardust in his footprints

When she took him by the hand

Then she smiled at him in the cold night

As they crossed the dew dressed sand

She set the sails for southbound

As he powered up the wheels

And he smiled at her in the cold night

And she blew a kiss and smiled right back at him

She was pretty in her white dress

And he got down on his knees

And she blew her yes through the cold night

As he tumbled through her breeze

When his feathers starting falling

They caught up with his sins

And they crossed his name in the cold night

And they clipped his pretty wings

He would still sometimes be thinking of her

As he hardened with the years

When he layed down his heart in the cold night

They say that sky grew heavy with her tears

It might just get ugly
